Data controller
Izan Heras Carrasco, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 03958687L, with address at C/ Rosalía de Castro, 7, 45250 Añover de Tajo, Toledo, España, owner of the website https://www.universalcalc.app. Contact: calculadorauniversal@gmail.com.
What data we process
The data you enter in the calculators never leaves your browser. Calculations run entirely on your device: we don’t send the numbers you type to any server. If your browser allows it, we store the last values you used locally (localStorage) so you don’t have to type them again. That information stays on your device and you can delete it by clearing the site’s data in your browser.
We do process the following data:
- Browsing data collected by our providers (IP address, device type, browser, pages visited), in order to show advertising and measure how the site is used.
- The data you send us by email, if you choose to write to us, only to reply to you.
Legal basis
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for advertising and measurement cookies, which are only activated if you accept them in the cookie notice.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to keep the site secure and working.
- Consent to answer the questions you send us by email.
Recipients
We share browsing data with the following providers, who act as controllers or processors as applicable:
- Google Ireland Limited (Google AdSense), to show advertising. Google’s privacy policy.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts the site and processes requests in order to serve the pages. It also provides our visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics): it counts page views, country, device type and where you came from, in aggregate, without cookies and without storing your IP address or any identifier that could recognize you across visits. Vercel Web Analytics privacy.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, relying on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or on adequacy decisions.
Retention
Browsing data is kept for the periods set by each provider in its own policy. Emails are kept while we handle your request and then for the time needed to deal with any legal liability.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to calculadorauniversal@gmail.com. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
If you believe we haven’t handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Children
The site is not directed at children under 14 and we don’t knowingly collect data from children under that age.
